You and I
In the wonderful words of the wonderful Elton John, “friends never say goodbye”.
It’s the end of the party and the beginning of a new act. 2015. A new world, full of promises, shades and illusions. Nature was good enough to just throw a blanket of whiteness over the dirt we live in. Sunbeams are blinding at this point. It’s better this way.
The final countdown? I know it started a very long time ago, with those very first forced four, which were actually two, which are now, actually, only a theoretical one, absent and caught up in that worldly subsistence. A considerable void. But an honest one. Many have worked their way through it over the years, more or less present, more or less “in touch”. laughs, sounds of broken hugs and false smiles still reverberate under the blanket of blinding light. The dreams that “we” had before are all dead. Nothing more, than confetti on the floor. It’s unfortunate that we, as a race, have managed to keep nature at bay. It would have been nice to have that blanket of light inside our homes, inside us. at least from time to time. Blinding all our senses and hiding all the dirt we spew out during the decrepit moments of our putrefied existence.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
2015 objective: maintaining the void intact.
